About 12 miles north of Carlsbad. 50 amp electric and water at most sites. A few also have sewer. Dump station along access road. Lots of room between sites. 200 yard path leads to lake edge, though not a good place to play in the lake. Very clean restrooms with showers (water saver heads). Sites all have a covered picnic table and BBQ grille. Limited vegetation in vicinity all covered with spines & thorns. Lake attracts a variety of birds.
