I think I’ve driven Rancheria Road maybe six or seven times since 1960. It’s mainly dirt and rutted and goes from the valley floor to the top of Greenhorn Mountain. A couple of those trips were with Shari. I think I’ve driven a Toyota Corolla, a Ford van, a Chevy pickup, a VW Beetle and maybe a few others I’m forgetting. I probably shouldn’t have driven any of them, but, I made it.
