The Westfalia in its natural habitat.
This specimen (a 4-wheel drive Mercedes-Benz sprinter in James-Cook conversion by Westfalia, I believe) was shipped from Germany to Baltimore and driven cross-country to this campsite at Bothe-Napa State Park. The family of four who are riding in the westfalia are on their way to Alaska.
My friends Jon and Sarah (in the photo) once owned a VW Westfalia.
