I’m coming back in September and just looking at hire car options with Alamo. At the moment they are offering a Fullsize (Ford Fusion or similar) for £233.22 or a Standard Sport (Dodge Challenger or similar) for £294.
The route will be LA – Palm Springs – Bakersfield – Monterey – Pismo – LA and I’m liking the idea of the Dodge after having one a few years ago. My question really is whether it’s best to purchase for that price now, or wait and see if I get an upgrade on pickup. It is for my wife’s 40th birthday after all 🙂
